Raising the standard for human-machine interfaces in direct imaging
Limata, an industry leader in digital imaging for PCB manufacturing, approached us to rethink and unify their design language across all their digital experiences — from website and communication to the software used in production. But what made this project unique and interesting for us was Limata’s openness to raising the bar for the design of the HMI used in daily machine operation.
We created a new storytelling for a trust-heavy industrial market, making the value proposition clearer and more compelling for decision-makers while preserving the right level of technical depth and proof. At the same time, we redesigned the HMI to to match the level of clarity and polish users increasingly expect from modern software, and improved Path-X to streamline engineering workflows.
The result was a unified redesign of Limata’s digital touchpoints, connected through a new shared design language.
Storytelling

Technology
Built around key performance figures, the technology page shows how specific technological features translate into benefits — making both the technology and its performance claims easier to understand, and supporting them through dedicated deep dives
X series
First, we gave ample space to showcase each product’s visuals, key benefits, and a clear breakdown of features and differences. From there, we moved into the broader story around smart manufacturing, automation, support, and, critically, total cost of ownership (TCO)
